Plox leveraged Blue Bite to authenticate Disney's futuristic, hovering STAR WARS Death Star speaker. The experience, accessed through an NFC tag mounted behind a label on the speaker base, made it difficult for counterfeiters to make replicas of the product, and helped deter the sale of fake speakers. The NFC was also used to create a shared channel between the brand and end-user through a Facebook experience.
